On October 17^th, jointly organized by Changsha Municipal Publicity Department, Foreign Affairs Office of Changsha Municipal People's Government and co-hosted by Changsha Municipal People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Changsha Evening News Group, Hunan branch of Phoenix network, a series of activities themed "Beautiful Changsha • My home - Changsha "were launched in Yuelu Academy. International student representatives from CSUST, WERONIKA (Poland), AGATA (Poland), KUSALA (Sri Lanka), ISURU (Sri Lanka), EVGENIYA (Russia) were invited to participate in the launch ceremony and follow-up series of activities.

On the same day, they learned about the history, enrollment patterns, teaching methods, architectural styles and patterns of Yuelu Academy and attended a lecture given by Professor Li Bing, a Hunan culture expert and professor from Hunan University, entitled "Hunan Culture and Human Spirit". After the visit to Yuelu Academy, they went to Changsha Tongguan Kiln National Archaeological Park, and gained a closer look at the wisdom of ancient Chinese technology and aesthetics. On October 24^th, they visited Changsha Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and outstanding local business Broad Home and had a firsthand experience of life in Changsha. On October 31^st, international student representatives from CSUST were invited to participate in the closing ceremony. KUSALA from our university sang a song named Send It On, which won storms of applause from the audience.
