On September 27th,the 10th National Excellent Innovative Practice Achievements Award of Civil Engineering Undergraduate in 2019 was revealed. The 2 students’ innovative achievements selected by CSUST won one first prize and one third prize.
The award-winning projects are "Self-Cleaning Luminous Pavement Material and Its Structural Study" (Instructor: Professor Gao Yingli) completed by Wu Yi, Xiao Lei, Guo Jiasheng, Yuan Shaowen and Cao Hanshuo, and "Rapid-Hardening and High-Strength Cement Blanket—Green and High-Efficiency Pavement Repair Material" (Instructor: Professor Li Jiusu) completed by Guo Jiasheng, Qiu Mengxuan, Luo Xinyue, Zhang Xinhui and Tan Zhoubo of the Civil Engineering (Road Engineering) major, who all come from the School of Traffic & Transportation Engineering.
Based on “National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for College Students” and “University-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for College Students”, these two achievements are also the best results of our university in this national competition so far.
The National Excellent Innovative Practice Achievements Award of Civil Engineering Undergraduate announces winners annually, aiming at promoting the reform and innovation of talent training mode and teaching method, cultivating students' innovative and practical abilities, exploring project-based learning and personalized training mode, and stimulating students' activity, enthusiasm and creativity in learning.
