A project sponsored by Ministry of Transportation in Western "Set of Repairing Techniques of Road Construction in the Area of Expansive Soil" led by Professor Zheng Jianglong won the first prize of the National Scientific and Technological Advancement Award, which fills in the blanks of road construction repairing techniques in the area of expansive soil at home and abroad and solves difficult problems in engineering field around the world in 2009.
